...About Gas
The LPG (or Liquifid Petroleum Gas) is a noble gas which offers a complete combustion with nolead nor supher. We normally see it in and around the house as Butane or Propane gas.

The octane rating of GLP is higher than gasoline, and its weight is 520grs/litre against the 720 grs/litre of gasoline, both measured at 1Bar and 15ºC

...About efficiency
The lowest calculated efficiency when burning GLP is about 11.000Kcal/Kg.
Gasoline rounds 10.500Kcal/kg, meaning that GLP is more efficient than gasoline.
I
t is very important to underline that performance is very similar to when using gasoline, when we keep in mind that the average price of GLP is much lower (roughly half) than petrol, we dont have to do any complicated calculations as pricewise the result is pretty obvious.

...Speaking Loud and Clear
We did some testing on an Ayerbe 8000H with a Honda GX390 engine. Our conclusion and final result:
The same performance at normal loads with 13 euros of Butane Gas from the spanish orange Butano bottle, as we had with 26 euros of unleaded 95 gasoline, without having the engine suffer at all.

Final conclusion
We obtain:

• Much higher fuel economy.
• Longer lasting engine and engine oil, as GLP does not leave any combustion residues.
• A clean, smoke free and almost oderless combustion.

Please note that NOTHING IS REMOVED or CANCELLED.

• Original fuel system is not tampered with leaving it completely operative for whenever only gasoline and no GLP is available.
• Both fuels can be used independently, one at a time. switching fuels can be easily done, even without stopping the engine, from GLP to petrol and Vice-Versa.

• GLP can be adapted to ANY 4-STROKE PETROL engine; generator, waterpump, forklift, tractor, etc, although we only do kits for small engines upto 20Hp

NOTE: Although gas converted engines do not suffer any damages nor premature wear, combustion temperatures are slightly higher than with gasoline. For this reason we do recommend a high quality lube (and not the first leftover you find in the backyard). Please keep in mind that some engine manufacturers do limit the extended warranty of engines when "modifications" have been done to them.
